OUR WORLD & SkyWatch - A Sad Time . . .

The light in the sky is brighter, a new star sparkles at night,

my days are dark with loss so hard to bear that daily life is
hard to cope with.

Until I become a little accustomed, my blogging will be intermittent.

  1. Dearest Arija,
your image is so achingly beautiful, but your words so heavy with loss, my heart goes out to you. I hope you can find comfort with those around you and those of you, even though far away, are thinking of you in these dark days.
    Much love,

  4. Liebe ARIJA,

meine Gedanken begleiten Dich durch die Dunkelheit. Trauer ist wichtig und befreiend, am ende jeder dunklen Nacht erwacht ein neuer Tag mit Licht...

    Abschied

    Abschied nehmen ist schwer,
    Auch mit dem Wissen,
ass man sich bald wieder findet.

Die Zukunft lebt von der Hoffnung,
    in Abschied vom Wiedersehen,
    Wann und wo auch immer.

  29. Sweet Arija, I knew that something sorrowful had to have come your way, for your absence had grown for long days. As long as there are those left to remember, allow those precious memories shared to flow over you in peace and give you the strength to carry you and your loved ones forward. Love and Blessings dear heart. Find comfort in all of the beauty that surrounds you, look up and know~

  30. Arija, how my heart grieves for you. I know you need to go through this process, but please do not stay away too long. I cannot imagine that your sister would want you to be sad forever. I thank you for your kind prayers for my mother. I am sending mine to you now along with a big hug! Just know that you are loved and the world still needs you.

BTW, that is a perfect picture to express grief and hope.

  44. Our sisters and brothers are our first ever friends, playmates, confidantes. They are our arms and our legs. Thy understand us, they know us, our history. They know how we feel so when they go, it is practically losing a piece of our heart and at some point we feel paralyzed from the pain . I don't know, I rather am getting comfortable with the sadness and melancholy.

  45. I add my condolances to those who have expressed it so well here. Take care and tend the garden of your life.

  46. Dear Arija, I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts. Of my 3 sibs 2 are still alive and I am greatful for it. Nature is relentless in trimming us down to size, each loss leaving us diminished and less alive. Such dark thoughts and yet when we look around us the world is so beautiful. And as a solace you are capturing this beauty in your photographs.
